Ask Feedster first

Feedster is a search engine for the Web, but unlike Google the former indexes RSS feeds insted of HTML pages. In the case you are wondering this blog has been indexed already.

A nice additional feature for Feedster would be to allow to restrict results by filtering out messages not belonging to a given site (the reverse of what actually happens). With such feature one could implement a simple blog search in a matter of minutes using Feedster as database. Recently I contacted author Scott Johnson by e-mail and he replied it would be undoubtely interesting but probably "costly".
