Bitflux, the future looks bright

As read on mozillaZine, during the latest Mozilla developers meeting in Brussels an interesting project was shown, it's called Bitflux Editor. From the web site:

Bitflux Editor is a browser based WYSIWYG XML Editor – and that changes everything! You can edit now your content semantically and at the same time display it to your users and editors in its final form.

On-line you can find some conference slides and an impressive demo (please check the demo notes before start bitchin').

As I wrote on mozillaZine the Bitfux editor could take advantage of the Midas editor added to the latest Mozilla 1.3 builds. The project looks very promising and I'm gonna look into it as soon as possible.
